Why this matters · 왜 중요한가요

Ransomware and info-stealers often arrive as attachments that look like documents. Windows hides known extensions by default, so Invoice.pdf.exe can appear as Invoice.pdf. A right-to-left override character can even make exe look like pdf.

랜섬웨어와 정보 탈취 악성코드는 문서처럼 보이는 첨부파일로 들어오는 경우가 많습니다. Windows는 기본 설정에서 알려진 확장자를 숨기기 때문에 Invoice.pdf.exe가 Invoice.pdf로 보일 수 있습니다. 역방향 문자(RLO)를 쓰면 exe가 pdf처럼 보이게 만들 수도 있습니다.

• Unexpected attachment? Confirm with the sender by phone or a separate channel.

Important limits · 중요한 한계

This tool checks the file name only. It does not open, upload, or scan the file contents. A clean result does not mean the file is safe: a normal-looking .docx or .pdf can still carry a malicious link or exploit. Use your antivirus and your organization's reporting process.

이 도구는 파일 이름만 검사합니다. 파일을 열거나 올리거나 내용을 검사하지 않습니다. 신호가 없어도 안전하다는 뜻은 아닙니다. 평범해 보이는 .docx나 .pdf에도 악성 링크나 취약점 공격이 들어 있을 수 있습니다. 백신과 조직의 신고 절차를 함께 쓰세요.
